Getting Started

Aelo is an AI-powered conversation analytics platform. It takes your recorded calls or chat transcripts, runs them through speech recognition and AI analysis, and returns:

  • Quality scores (0–100) with detailed breakdowns
  • Sale probability estimates
  • Sentiment analysis (positive / neutral / negative)
  • Compliance checks (recording disclaimers, mandatory phrases)
  • Coaching recommendations with specific action items
  • Keyword and topic extraction

Aelo works with multiple ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) and LLM (Large Language Model) providers, so you can choose the balance of speed, accuracy, and cost that fits your organization.

Aelo uses role-based access control. Each user is assigned exactly one role within an organization.

RoleDescription
ClientOrganization owner. Full access to every feature: projects, settings, billing, team management, analytics, and all configuration.
SupervisorTeam lead. Views team-level analytics and alert events. Access is scoped to assigned projects.
AgentField user. Uploads conversation records, views own quality scores and daily performance goals.
RoleDescription
AdminSame access as Client, except cannot manage billing, change user roles, or delete projects.
  1. You will receive an invitation email from your organization’s admin.
  2. Click the Accept Invitation link in the email.
  3. Create your account or sign in with an existing provider (Google, Microsoft, etc.).
  4. You will land on the Dashboard with an onboarding checklist.

After your first login, Aelo displays a role-specific onboarding checklist to help you get set up. The checklist adapts to your role:

Client checklist includes:

  • Create your first project
  • Configure AI settings (ASR & LLM providers)
  • Upload a test recording
  • Invite team members
  • Set up alert rules
  • Connect CRM (optional)

Supervisor checklist includes:

  • Review team dashboard
  • Configure alert notifications

Agent checklist includes:

  • Upload your first recording
  • Review your quality score
  • Check coaching recommendations

Tasks can be checked off manually. Progress is saved automatically and persists across sessions. You can dismiss the checklist at any time; it won’t appear again once all tasks are marked complete.

A newly created organization starts receiving records immediately, but analysis is off until you turn it on. Conversations appear in the list with the status Awaiting start: nothing is transcribed, nothing is analyzed, and no minutes are spent. This gives you time to set up projects, criteria and prompts before the meter starts running.

To start:

  1. Open Records. The banner shows how many conversations have already arrived — proof that the integration works.
  2. Click Start analysis. From that moment every new conversation is analyzed automatically.

Conversations that arrived before you switched analysis on are not processed automatically. They are offered separately, with the price shown up front: the card states how many conversations accumulated, how many minutes that is, and how much falls beyond your plan’s included minutes. You choose whether to process all of them or only today’s.

Bulk import from your CRM follows the same rule — it is available only after analysis is on, so a backfill cannot spend your included minutes before you intended to.

Only the organization owner or an admin can turn analysis on or start the backlog: the switch spends minutes on behalf of the whole company.

Aelo uses a collapsible sidebar for navigation. The sidebar contains the following sections:

  • Mobile — on small screens, the sidebar becomes a slide-out drawer via the hamburger menu.
  • Active state — the current page is highlighted in the sidebar.

Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) to open the Command Palette. It provides quick access to:

  • Navigate to any page
  • Search records
  • Create a new project
  • Upload a recording
  • Access settings

Aelo supports multiple languages and visual themes.

Supported languages: English, Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish

Theme options:

  • Dark — optimized for low-light environments (default)
  • Light — high-contrast light theme
  • Auto — follows your system preference

To change language or theme:

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Go to the Profile tab.
  4. Choose your preferred Language and Theme.

This changes only the interface language. Aelo has two more, independent language settings: emails, notifications, and report labels follow the organization’s language (see Organization settings); the AI analysis report language and the recognition language spoken in recordings are project-level, configured in Analysis Setup.

If you belong to multiple organizations, use the organization selector in the sidebar header to switch between them. Only users with access to multiple organizations will see this selector.

  • Client? Continue to Dashboard to explore your organization overview, then Projects to create your first project.
  • Supervisor? See Dashboard for team performance analytics and Alerts for monitoring.
  • Agent? Start with Dashboard to see your performance, then Records to upload recordings.
